The way to install SketchUp plugins depends on the file extension in which the plug-in was downloaded. The most frequent files are * .rbz [Windows and Mac] as well as * .exe [Windows] or * .dmg [Mac]. You can also find plugins consisting of a file in * .rb format and an attached [Windows and Mac] folder. Below you will find a description of the various installation methods. The easiest way to install the plugin is to use the Extension Warehouse tool, which is available in SketchUp. You can get to it by clicking Window> Extension Warehouse. It allows you to find and install a specific plug-in via the install button. This button is active after logging in. Using the Extension Warehouse requires logging in.
